Draft master plan for Hobart City High School released for consultation
25 March 2022
The Draft Master Plan for Hobart City High School has been unveiled.
The Draft Plan for Hobart City High School’s Ogilvie and New Town campuses was developed following extensive consultation with school staff and the broader community.
The Government committed $20 million in the 2021-22 State Budget to meet the requirements identified within the Master Plan, and a further $1.6 million was allocated to undertake initial enabling works to support co-educational learning across both campuses.
The Draft Master Plan identifies opportunities from the existing spaces on the Ogilvie and New Town campuses to provide contemporary learning facilities and for increased enrolment capacity for the future.
Extensive community and stakeholder consultation on the Draft Master Plan will commence on Monday 28 March and run for eight weeks. Feedback received through this process will help inform the prioritisation of works for the allocated funding.
The community is encouraged to come forward as part of the consultation to have their say on this exciting project, which will ensure our students are learning in the best possible environments.
