Schools throughout Tasmania have been celebrating the magic of reading this week during Children’s Book Week (16 – 23 August).
From bringing favourite book characters to life through parades and dress ups, to library visits, door decorating and community excursions, we are loving seeing schools celebrating the power of stories and reading.
This year’s theme is ‘Book an Adventure,’ celebrating all of the places a book can take you.
In its 80th year, Children’s Book Week is an opportunity for readers of all ages to dive into stories and spark their imagination.
