Working in our schools comes with:
- a variety of career and development pathways.
- a welcoming team environment.
- enriching teaching and learning experiences.
Working in Tasmanian government schools provides you with the opportunity to be in a range of Primary Schools, High Schools, Colleges and Support Schools in learning areas such as General Classroom, Maths, Science, Technology, Health & Physical Education, the Arts, Humanities, Languages and more.
Our schools are community-focused and committed to the goal that every student has the opportunity to learn and achieve their full potential.
Tasmania is peaceful, untamed and like nowhere else. When you’re not teaching, find your kind of adventure. Climb a mountain, chase a waterfall, cruise the waterways, ride the rapids, go fly fishing. Everything is accessible and ‘just around the corner’.
From vibrant Hobart to Tasmania’s welcoming rural and remote communities, there’s a school – and a life – waiting for you here.
