Our Foster Care community is made up of lots of different people from all areas of Tasmania
We welcome carers who may:
- be single or have a partner
- have parented their own children or not
- own or be renting their home
- have full or part time work, stay at home, study or are retired
- be from any culture or religion
- have any sexual or gender orientation.

We welcome carers who are single or a couple, LGBTIQA+, working or retired, with or without children of their own, from all backgrounds and cultures. | Glenhaven Family Care | Glenhaven Family Care is a Tasmanian Christian community organisation providing support to children and their families for over 60 years. Our carers provide care for children 0-18 years old for as little as one weekend a month up to fulltime, long term care. We provide care to children who are unable to live at home as well as a community respite program. | Kennerley | Kennerley is a private, not-for-profit organisation run by a volunteer board, and has been working with vulnerable Tasmanian children since 1869.
