For a long time, Taroona High School has stood on the Derwent River on the land of the muwinia people, a sprawling campus welcoming diversity with cultural and social interconnections worldwide through its 1200 students and diverse cohort of professional staff. For a long time, Taroona High School has stood on the Derwent River, an environment which has welcomed, supported and encouraged students to a new-found fervour and undiscovered excitement towards learning. Taroona High School stands on the Derwent River, as a facsimile of the ideal Australian school.
