The Tasmanian Government has committed to a major redevelopment of the North West Support School, with a new hydrotherapy pool and upgrades to the Burnie campus, and redevelopment of the Devonport campus on a new site to replace the current facility located at 113 Middle Road Miandetta.

Timeline
The project initiation stage sees the commencement of project planning, documentation and engagement with the school community.
This stage of community engagement will help determine the preferred site for North West Support School’s new Devonport campus.
Community Engagement is now closed.
This phase will see the development of a master plan.
Design development of the approved master plan in readiness for tendering and construction.
Construction is expected to commence in 2025.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2027.
