Nestled on the foreshore of Kangaroo Bay, Rosny College offers a dynamic senior secondary learning environment for young people on Hobart’s Eastern Shore. Established in 1973, the college provides education for students in Years 11 and 12 and has built a strong reputation for academic achievement, vocational excellence and high-quality student support.

Rosny College offers one of the widest ranges of senior secondary subjects in southern Tasmania, with extensive TASC Level 1–4 courses, Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications, university pathway subjects and industry-focused programs. Learning areas span English, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Technologies, Visual and Performing Arts, Health and Physical Education, Languages and specialist vocational programs, allowing students to build personalised programs aligned to their ambitions.

Students learn in a supportive adult learning environment, where independence, responsibility and collaboration are encouraged. Strong emphasis is placed on wellbeing for learning, supported by comprehensive pastoral care, counselling services, career education and academic coaching to ensure every student is known, safe, well and learning.
