The consultation report on the future model for Hobart City High School and Elizabeth College is now available.

Prepared by 3P Advisory Pty Ltd, the consultation focused on the current partnership between the two schools and sought ways to improve learning outcomes and pathways for students towards employment, further training or higher education.

Participants were asked to focus on three possible options for a future model for both schools.  These included whether to keep the schools separate and continue their partnership, or to combine as one school on three campuses.

The Minister for Education, Children and Youth has confirmed that the schools will remain as separate entities, but continue to operate in partnership, in accordance with the consultation’s findings and the feedback received.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the consultation.  It was highly valuable in helping to understand what the school communities want to see for both schools now and into the future.
