Artist impressions have been released of the new gymnasium to be constructed at Cambridge Primary School.
The building is part of a $9.9 million second stage of works. Construction of the new gymnasium is expected to start in 2027. Once completed it will be available for community use outside of school hours.
In addition to the new gymnasium, the Stage 2 works also include traffic and car park works to the school and oval precinct areas.
Earlier this year, the school’s $8.1 million Stage 1 works were completed and officially opened. These included:
- four new classrooms
- library relocation
- staff room expansion
- new offices
- professional support spaces
- sensory rooms
- canteen upgrade
