Course description
This 45-minute online session explores how clearly defined attendance processes help schools identify needs, coordinate supports and strengthen attendance outcomes for students. Participants will explore practical approaches for defining roles and responsibilities, documenting attendance processes, identifying barriers to attendance and implementing appropriate supports. Resources and tools to support implementation will be provided. For a deeper exploration of this topic, participants may wish to enrol in the full-day Establish foundational attendance conditions: shared priority, data and processes workshop.

Participants will develop a deeper understanding of:
- defining, documenting and implementing consistent school-wide processes to support all students
- identifying barriers and enablers to attendance and selecting appropriate supports
- using practical tools and resources to support attendance improvement within their school context
- how to best use the professional learning resources with their staff
