Course description
The early years are a critical time for children’s development, shaped by the relationships around them. When those relationships are unsafe or unpredictable, young children can experience relational trauma. This can deeply affect their emotional, social and brain development.
This workshop supports CFLC staff working with children aged 0-5 to better understand the impact of relational trauma, build therapeutic responses, and care for themselves when supporting children and families affected by trauma.
This training is delivered by experienced early childhood practitioners and trauma-informed educators, with a strong understanding of relational trauma in the early years and professional self-care when working with young children and families affected by trauma.
